Declining Balance Card Pick Up Date

The recommended window for a DB Card request is at least 3 business days (Monday-Friday) prior to the desired card pickup date. “Business day” does not include weekend days or holidays.

Important: Cards requested on Sunday for a Monday pick up will not be fulfilled until Wednesday.

Card User Information

The “Card User” is the individual who will be authorized to use this card. The card user:

• -Must have completed the DB Card Online Training course during the current academic year.
• -Must pick up and return the DB Card and receipts
• -May not share the card with another student once it is in their possession

Please note it is permitted for a Treasurer to request a card on behalf of another member who will be the Card User.

Funding Information

Please be aware that until SBAC has approved your funding, your DB Card cannot be issued.

Purchase Details (Business Purpose)

You indicated you would use the DB Card for an annual or monthly recurring charge. Please provide the details below, but also be advised we will be contacting you to discuss creating a special agreement for the recurring charge, which must be renewed each academic year in order for the charge to continue. You may be asked to attend a meeting to discuss the special agreement.

Because new travel procedures are currently in development, most students will be contacted to attend a meeting prior to booking travel with a DB Card. Click here to book an appointment.

Reminder, DB Cards may only be used to put gas in a university-owned or rental van. You may not put gas in a personal car.

Reminder, due to ongoing changes to travel procedures for Student Organizations, you may be asked to meet with SOFO prior to using a DB Card for hotels or airfare.

Please be advised that items purchased for a SAF-funded event should be clearly listed on the budget approved by the Student Activity Fee committee.
