Any time your group has a fundraiser or accepts donations, whether the purpose is to fund your group activities or contribute to your favorite charitable cause, it’s important to know that the university has special guidelines for how such deposits should be handled.

The Office of the Dean of Students is currently working with University Advancement to develop specific guidance about donations which will apply to chartered student organizations. Until that guidance is published, student groups that have received a donation or need assistance depositing proceeds from fundraising activities should contact Amy Ciaccia ( or Amy Mohan ( in the Office of the Dean of Students.
